BOSOM BUDDIES OF SOUTHWESTERN COLORADO has been serving men and women who experience breast cancer since 2001.  With the contributions they receive from this community, they provide essential services and financial assistance to our afflicted community members.  All of the dollars earned here in Montrose, stay here.  For this reason, Cobble Creek Women’s Golf Association has been supporting Bosom Buddies of Southwestern Colorado the past 15 years. 

 

Since 2001, BOSOM BUDDIES has provided the following assistance to over 4000 members of our community with over $900,000 in financial assistance and has provided the following services:

• Host support discussions upon request for women and men dealing with breast cancer

• Provide financial assistance for mammograms and other breast cancer related medical expenses to underserved women and men in southwestern Colorado

• Help more than 200 women and men each year with medical financial assistance

• Make available hats, scarves, wigs, bras and prosthesis

• Award scholarships to the children of a parent or guardian diagnosed with breast cancer, and to breast cancer survivors who reside in southwestern Colorado

• Provide financial assistance for counseling services for children of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer
